There was a ( blondish)young man at the reception desk when we arrived. He was very welcoming and very helpful..a great start to our visit.I wish I’d asked his name because he went out of his way to be helpful to my son & his family and myself on several occasions. Our rooms were clean, beds comfortable. Evening reception and breakfast was an enjoyable bonus, and the large open reception room was comfortable to gather and visit in. . The breakfast staff was also very pleasant , and the personalized omelette’s were great. This place is definitely a “ don’t judge a book by its cover “ type of hotel. Outside appearance is really just ‘okay’ , but inside was warm and welcoming.

Good breakfast food which was quick to get and staff was very friendly and helpful, rooms spacious, beds and bedding comfortable, nice having extra sink and fridge/ microwave. Happy hour was great. Pool looked nice but didn’t have time to go. Location close to cal poly and downtown. Front desk staff very friendly.

We had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The staff is helpful and the rooms are lovely. Very clean and comfortable. The design of the common space at this hotel is really nice and we appreciated a variety of breakfast options. We would stay here again if we were in the area.
